To begin with, the day after you check in, you will be offered breakfast at the hotel. We then set off for Antsirabe through the Highlands. Along the way, you'll see a combination of picturesque landscapes. From rolling hills to fertile agricultural plains, rice fields and typical villages towards the Vakinankaratra region.
Once you arrive in Antsirabe, you can pause to admire this pleasant destination all year round. It differs from other regions in that it boasts thermal springs, lush green parks, lakes (Andraikibe and Tritiva), local crafts and a "pousse-pousses" means of transport. To enhance your tour, you will be free to have lunch in one of the town's restaurants.
Then it's on to Miandrivazo, a town nestling in the western rice-growing basin. It is also nestled along the Tsiribihina river, in the Menabe region. It lies on the banks of the Mahajilo river. Along the way, you'll see vegetable fields, rice paddies, hills, plains and rock formations. You will also see Betafo, a volcanic site of hills and a rudimentary landscape. It contains a rich history of the royal Sakalava dynasty.
In short, Miandrivazo is a small town with a bush atmosphere, a starting point for the descent of the Tsiribihina river.
